Hi! Its Sofia here. I was a ladybug for Halloween. This is me after a very long day before we went trick or treating. I had a fun birthday party today. We'll get some more pictures up soon. Posted by Hello

yoga

I've been trying to do my prenatal yoga video several times a week. I had it when I was pregnant with Sofia and it is mostly just stretching and working on squatting and other stuff. There is a lot of "close your eyes, focus on your breath" and "feel how your body moves, feel your baby move" la, la, la stuff. Last time I was able to fully participate in all the la, la, la stuff. But now, it is a completely different story. Sofia climbs all over me, through my legs, on my back, sits on my legs, etc. I usually have to stop the video several times to pry Sofia off of me and get her interested in something else. It seems to be a good example how different things are for the second pregnancy, birth and baby. With the first, you can, if you choose, really savor each new moment. Not so now. Of course, this is a challenge for Sofia. I persevere with my yoga video because I'm hoping she'll start to get used to it and maybe even join in. It is just a small part of a very big change coming soon to her almost 2 year old self.

Tadaaa! Here it is...  Posted by Hello

Many months ago, Chris made this tent frame for some friends and he made one for Sofia too. He got some nice golf clubs out of the deal. We bought the fabric way back then when he finished it, but I just got around to making the tent. Posted by Hello

Milestone

And for those of you interested... Sofia has officially stopped nursing. She hasn't mentioned it for several days and it has been almost two weeks since the last time. All in all, weaning went really well. The hardest part was back many months ago, when we did the night weaning. So now she's moved on to bigger and better things and I'm gearing up for the next one. I'm happy for the few months break.

Sofia got a "new" car to ride around in the side yard. Her friend Coco has one so she is quite familiar with its operation. Posted by Hello

Alternative means of entering the car - it tipped over shortly thereafter. Posted by Hello

All caught up

I posted at least one picture from each of the last 10 months to get caught up. Chris and I made our website too complicated and we got burned out on updating it... so I'm going to do this blog for a while and see how it goes. It may turn into the Hillman Family Blog. I can already see that the pictures are not the best quality - but what do I expect for free? I will work on it. This is a work in progress of course. So scroll down and enjoy the photos, mostly of Sofia of course. Nobody wants to see some thirty-something couple, just their cute little girl.
