Here Maia is wondering if there is a Cheerio in her hand. She couldn't quite get them into her mouth from her hand but we're working on it. I got some great video of her first taste of Cheerio - I wouldn't call it a real hit.
The geezers amongst us can clearly see that Maia is "Feeling her Cheerios". Ya got be kind of old to remember the General Mills ad slogan that they used for many years. Speaking of spiders, Kat and I were in the lower yard yesterday enjoying ourselves near the lawn when we noticed a very large spider had built a very large web under the deck. Feeling cocky beyond my years, I grabbed a small rock and told Kat to watch me put it right in the center. To both of our amazements, bullseye! There sat the web with only the spider gone and a 1" hole. Figured that would be the last we'd see of him. You've already guessed what happened today. As I walked down to check the pool I looked at the web and couldn't believe my eyes. He's back! Right in the center of his perfectly repaired web. I got up real close to see if I could see any spider sized band-aids but he looked totally unscathed. You may not believe what I am about to say but I swear he said to me in spidereeze, "Geoff, what was that about?" Go figure. Love Grandpa
Oh, I believe it. Well, maybe not the talking part, but we have some spider friends (they are only friends when they are outside) in the yard that spin new webs in the same place over and over...
